across lifetimes I’ve met so many faces, walked with strangers in the rain, yet something in me waits, for someone I’ve never met.  Sometimes I feel you near, like a half remembered dream. Maybe you’re my soulmate, someone I’ve loved a thousand times in lives I can’t remember. Maybe you’re lost like I am too, searching without a clue, and one day, when time stands still, I’ll finally recognize you, the one I’ve always known, the one I never knew enough.

Fragmented Something shifted in me, slowly, The light inside, once burning clear, Now flickers faint with doubt and fear. I lost something that day, Something I still can’t name. I walked away, but left behind A piece of my heart. No outward scars to see, But I feel the blood beneath Flowing from the wounds so deep. Still I breathe, but not the same, A ghost within me, stripped of name. And though the world goes on, unchanged, I know I’m not. I have been fragmented.

You’re right. In the “end state” when the energy evenly spreads out its high entropy. It feels like order but thermodynamically it’s disorder at the microscopic level. Basically it means if the energy is evenly arranged in the whole universe there are billions of ways for molecules to be arranged.
