Lots of places to sit as well. The track was mostly packed gravel with some ups and downs, no washouts or major hurdles to movement. Beach access is not mobility friendly outside of the main carpark which does have a ramp.

Hiking the Motu Trails over the next few months. Today was the Tirohanga Dunes Trail along Hikuwai beach! Bonus Whakaari included!

This trail was taken care of and smooth enough for mobility aid usage, but I would have struggled if it had been a pushchair day.

So yeah ai. But also there were mods fucking grooming children and they decided to just ignore it and then try and sweep it under the rug. That’s where their troubles started and when most of us left. Ai was just the nail in the coffin.

Really need a journalist to ask Luxon on live TV why he doesn’t believe in democracy and thinks he has a right to overrule it. Then they need to follow up by asking if he intends to make himself a king. His doubling down on discarding democratic submissions is disgusting.
