Honestly? After them being minis for the whole show I didn't mind at all. Them becoming adults and fighting as an adult *IS* the forward momentum for me.

I got a lot of gripes with Daima. But I wasn't bored or annoyed with the fight since the animation is so pretty and seeing the fight was cool.

A bit late with a reaction to it. I didn't love how it was achieved. But I wasn't as annoyed as you were because Neva already is a walking Deus Ex Machina character so I figured he'd do some stuff. It'd like them to call back to it in a followup to Super and have to earn it this time without magic.
