After the chequered, the team surrounding Oliver Rowland celebrated his world championship in front of the Nissan garage.

🏆 We have a new Formula E World Champion 🏆
In a thrilling Berlin race, Nissan driver Oliver Rowland was crowned the world champion of season 11.
His former mentee, Taylor Barnard, told me: "Huge congratulations to him. And after the season he's had, he definitely deserves it."

For context: during season 10 the plan was to have NXT Gen Cup as the support series during the Misano, Monaco, Berlin and London. But due to "unexpected constraints" that had to be called off very last minute.

I spoke to NXT Gen's Fredrik Lestrup today, and he told me they are working on it. They already had all their equipment in Misano last year before it had to be called off. Fingers crossed it works out next time. 🤞🏻

During a group interview at Porsche, the reigning world champion was talking really quietly. All the travelling and (according to a Porsche team member) a sick Soleya (his daughter) have resulted in him feeling under the weather.

😱 Zane Maloney is limping 😱
Following the photoshooting for the new livery, jumping off the car, Maloney rolled his ankle. Walking to the media pen, the Boy from Barbados was still limping. I asked him if it was still THAT bad to which he responded: yes. But it is supposedly okay.

The tunnels for the tube are like a sauna! It is relatively cold outside but once you go down these, you HAVE to take off multiple layers or you're sweating like a crazy person. So better bring layers you can easily take off. 😅
