Aforementioned alcoholic relative is thankfully not joining us for thanksgiving, though they continue to live in my house and continue to be a PITA.

For the first year in a long time I’m only cooking for immediate family. Still lots of food, just smaller quantities. I’m looking forward to it. Not spending all day in the kitchen, not forcing myself into potentially uncomfortable conversations, not having to deep clean for judgmental relatives.

Alcoholic relative keeps trying to convince me to join them on their nightly binge. So now I’ve given up drinking entirely just out of pure spite. Happy holidays.
