This is about as far as OSC controls go, but I'd like to extend this with a server on the VRChat host for clipboard sync, use the VRChat API to see online friends & update your status from the menu bar icon, etc. Contributions welcome on GitHub!

This is not the most practical or economical setup, but it enables cross-platform immersive co-working with people around the world in thousands of beautiful environments, and now it's a bit more viable!

I like to co-work in VRC on Vision Pro using ALVR & Mac Virtual Display, but the hand-tracking controls are unreliable and switching back & forth between keyboard/controllers to move/mute/etc while working is inconvenient. So I wanted to be able to do that from my Mac's keyboard.

This turns out to be a pretty nice way to get some controls with physical feedback in XR while keeping your hands free for tracking, DJing, etc. In the future, we hope to make this more flexible with custom parameter controls including swiping, gyroscope, heartrate & double tap.

As an example, we've used the knob to control the opacity of a greenscreen on an avatar which can be chroma keyed out in ALVR/VD for an effect similar to the passthrough knob on the AVP (which is normally unavailable in immersive/VR apps), and added some audiovisual controls.
