It's not acceptable and you're missing the point, I think on purpose. Just because everyone else is doing a legitimate pile on about transphobia doesn't bring back Twitter rules of 'miss the point on purpose'

It is absolutely true that it was the agenda - but it wasn't the language of Cameroonian conservatism. The language was pull together, tighten belts, Big Society. Obviously I'm not saying it wasn't bollocks: but it wasn't framed exclusively around othering and civil war

How dare Kemi Badenoch say "given it's the Guardian"? We don't make things up! That's one of the most annoying things about us

I'm sorry to harp on, but how can Kemi Badenoch *possibly exist* in a party alongside a guy who complains about not seeing enough white faces. How is that possible?

Yesterday, the largest far-right protest in UK history marched through London, led by racist Tommy Robinson.
Today, we say: They donโt speak for us โ and they wonโt have the last word.
This Wednesday we come together against Trump and for a better future. Do everything to be there.

I really disagree: I think if you come in and a progressive party and then destroy living standards for the poorest, you're the one who ushers in the far right.

Sad to hear Starmer cite changing the Labour Party as one of his major achievements. Sure, it's changed, in so far as everyone in it feels alienated and drained of hope but it's not very classy to brag about that.

Did you ever mind, tho? I would mind. I'd think, 'hmm, sounds like they're saying men shouldn't be nurses' (also I don't think it is the same thing)

Mmm not really. If anything I found the struggle of reproducing to be the assumptions of homogeneity among us, *because* we were women. And thought if we reverted to 'people', it might come more naturally to imagine that we didn't all think the same thing

I could go with "a pregnant pain in the ass"? No, I guess I preferred pregnant person. It may have been internalised patriarchy, that I hear something dismissive in even being described as a woman.

Which isn't to say, I'm right and everyone else is wrong, rather: I remember a time, not that long ago, when you could just say "I prefer this" and it was fine.
