Mmm not really. If anything I found the struggle of reproducing to be the assumptions of homogeneity among us, *because* we were women. And thought if we reverted to 'people', it might come more naturally to imagine that we didn't all think the same thing

I could go with "a pregnant pain in the ass"? No, I guess I preferred pregnant person. It may have been internalised patriarchy, that I hear something dismissive in even being described as a woman.

Which isn't to say, I'm right and everyone else is wrong, rather: I remember a time, not that long ago, when you could just say "I prefer this" and it was fine.
