It's odd waxing nostalgic about the golden era of Facebook, but today I am mourning the Events feature. It was unmatched, having one place to find what events were upcoming, what information had been made public, and which of my friends were going (or who wanted to and maybe would split costs).

Finally beat Oddsparks after spending just shy of 100 hours with it since its release a few months ago. It's a very charming marriage of Pikmin and Factorio, and it hooked me in a way that's hard to explain. Combat's weird, but nothing beats the feeling of perfectly automating something complex.

Spending Father's Day with my parents at the cute greasy spoon down the street from the house I grew up in. They did an amazing job raising me and my brother despite having us so young, and I respect them so much for that~

VERY satisfied I held off watching Severance (really mostly out of pure laziness) until Season 2 came out. I watched the first two episodes on a flight in early 2023; if I'd watched the full first season and experienced THAT season finale without the next season to jump into, I would be apoplectic.

Can't lie, I've been enjoying not worrying about social media after everything started going to hell on Twitter and Meta and wherever else. Don't mistake my absence for anything other than me focusing on me—I'm happy, I'm healthy, etc.

I was a huge fan! He went on Regis & Kelly to audition to replace Regis permanently, and I remember watching that day to see how he did. His web show was really entertaining, though I'm sure it didn't age well.

The way I spent hundreds of hours watching "What The Buck" in the late 2000s on YouTube and I just realized most every episode of it is privated. It feels like the YouTube of my late adolescence has just been wiped from the face of the planet.

I'm moving soon which means I'm spending five hours a day on furniture and art sites fantasizing about the $20k worth of goods in my bookmarks when I fully well know I'm gonna buy everything I need at IKEA for $28.51.

She's from Rivals 1, will eventually come to Rivals 2 but no clue when. They're doing 4 characters a year according to their last video, so, assuming 3/year are returning characters, we're tbh looking at possibly many years before she's in.
