Animal products inherently have far higher environmental impact. A well planned WFPB diet is very healthy and reduces risk of certain conditions. Also if you value justice and oppose discrimination as an anti-capitalist you should consider the exploitation of animals as unethical as well

Humans and non-human animals have similar essential interests,(ie wanting to live free from harm ) and if we oppose discrimination we ought consider a violation of these interests unethical for both. Plants aren’t sentient and don’t have interests to violate.
