Yes, Danielle Smith is a separatist
Alberta's premier says she supports "a sovereign Alberta within a united Canada." Her actions tell a much different story β one that makes her position on the issue impossible to ignore.
She keeps getting chances to show some loyalty to Canada -- and keeps turning them away in order to defend Alberta separatists and their cause.
It's who she is. It's time we all started saying it. #cdnpoli #abpoli

Rewatched Elysium. First time around I thought it was a bit dystopian. Now it seems like the current administration is trying to speed things up by 125 years. They're probably waiting on Boston Dynamics to get the police droids out first.

Wow. In translation this is a mind bender. What a fantastic piece. I couldn't help but start to examine all the "hyper realities" I experience. It also seems to be played at the regional (see Alberta) and municipal level.

Maybe we should examine our "world class" driver training. Learn a few lessons from Germany where they know a thing or two about going fast....like designing roads for it and training their drivers to be able to do it.

I think the lessons from Ukraine are applicable to a North American conflict along an 8,800 km front. Even with the obvious air superiority disadvantage, lessons from Ukraine would suggest a distributed drone fleet across that distance could be a serious deterrent an aggressor.

A social media post by user: trond_solberg71 which reads: Hi. Norwegian here. A big misconception about social democracy is that everyone makes the same money and that you can't get rich. But Norway has wealthy people, entrepreneurs, successful CEOs. The difference is that a janitor can afford healthcare. A teacher can afford a home. And the wealthy still live in a society that works. Social democracy doesn't put a ceiling on wealth. It raises the floor.
I'm a libertarian because I oppose everything this post supports.

I might think about that if the whole goddamn experience was less like being in a feedlot and getting on cattle trucks and more like a Swiss Train in second class. When they constantly harass you to upgrade your seat so you can get on early to get your carry on in an overhead bin?
