Here I share a piece of seemingly relevant side info: a friend of mine--an academic chemist had a conference in Honolulu this October & stayed at Hilton there. There were labor strikes of hotels as well. The situation was everyday guests ...
... should be fairly addressed & working conditions should be well improved. I sincerely hope the concerns of hotel staff will be well addressed.
