Today, little kids at Annunciation Catholic School were forced into a club that no child should ever join. It’s a fucked up club, and it’s growing because our so-called leaders refuse to act.

House Democrats are horrified by today's shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.

Our hearts are with all the families affected by this senseless tragedy.

We will continue fighting in Congress to pass legislation that keeps our communities safe from gun violence.

Once again, America is shattered by another horrific school shooting.

This morning at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, two children—just 8 and 10 years old—were killed during a school Mass.

The first week of school should be a time of hope and joy for our children and teachers, not trauma. My heart breaks for Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis after today’s tragic shooting. We must protect our schools and act to address America’s gun violence crisis.

"We often come to these and say, 'these unspeakable tragedies,' or, 'there's no words for this.' There shouldn't be words for these types of incidents because they should not happen."

There should never have been an Annunciation Catholic School tragedy. To stop these shootings we need real action to protect kids, not just thoughts and prayers. The only thing you can do now is vote the gun-toting GOP zealots out.
