Good question.

There is a part of me that understands why there are closed primaries. But I am more and more understanding that is why we are in the mess we are in. My husband and daughters are registered Independents.They have to rely on me and other registered Democrats to choose correctly.

As my state has a closed primary system it is really the only reason I have not changed to independent.

It may be 1 am but my cat just woke me up by bringing me one of her favorite fuzzy mice. She was just sitting on the floor meowing with the mouse sitting in front of her.

It is 2:12 am and I am silently suffering through an anxiety attack. I cannot pinpoint the trigger.

Her campus has a beautiful Interfaith center. I missed out on reserving a spot as they will be having a discussion in their main arena at 9:30. She can get in the student line but not sure if she will make it inside to see them as I am sure it will be well attended.

Hoping that Setzer pulls through. Such a beautiful boy who has been through so much.

My daughter said they will be on her DC campus on Tuesday.

I grew up in NW Ohio. I do not remember ever dealing with sleet like this. The clearing of the 6” of fluffy snow was a piece of cake compared to the 2 clearing of 2’ of sleet. And we will have to go out for a 3rd clearing.

Asked the kid what they had for dinner last night in the dinning hall.
