Trump won because he campaigned as a "strong leader willing to twist arms and get things done". For a dem administration to remain popular, they will need to be strong leaders willing to twist arms and bully politicians into falling in line.

We are DONE with incrementalism and tweaks around the edges. Either catch the biggest fish in the pond or go home starving.

Trump was able to snap his fingers and carry out policy. Dems can snap policy into existence too. Dems have to be willing to do some strong arming and iron punching of their own though.

Yet they keep ceding ground to the right on trans issues. Whether it be Newsom vetoing a bunch of pro trans bills to democratic pundits agreeing with right wing culture war slop.

Gavin Newsom was fawning over Charlie Kirk during his podcast interview. That's all I gotta say.
