"Adventurous little one..."

[Break Out keeps his servos close to the sparkling, but allows them to explore how they want. Tracker trills quietly on his back.]

"Yes, I'm aware, Tracker, thank you."

[Break Out sips his engex and looks over Blight's frame, optics trailing mostly over his chassis. Where the Allspark shard would be. But then it shifts to the mech's subspace, still cracked open. Now he can't just kill the mech... This was going to be more complicated than he originally thought.]

"Yes, organics tend to do that... On purpose or not, they're quite spontaneous."

[Break Out shakes his helm with a slight smile, ordering another drink.]

[The general watches the small sparkling, making sure to be ready in case the little one decides it wants to try taking a dive off his leg.]

"It's alright. You've been on Earth for a while, then? Longer than most of us, at least."

[Break Out's genuinely curious. He hadn't heard of the mech before, but he must have been here for a long time if the mech had bonded to a human long enough to trust them flying with him. Or he trusts easily.]

[Break Out chuckles quietly, allowing Gullet to stare at him. In fact, he stares right back. He doesn't cringe away or find the staring awkward. In fact, he almost finds it cute.]

"You like being up high, huh? Not too surprising, I suppose."

[His voice is quite, a low rumble emanating from his chassis. His servos still hover close to Gullet, just in case he decides he wants to dive off Break Out's leg.]

"Of course. Think of them more as support mentally, rather than physically. However, don't discount their advice. Humans are generally quite skilled with their own young, given how many of them they make all the time."

[Break Out chuckles quietly.]

[Break Out is barely holding back a smile, slowly lowering his servo so the little mechling can crawl along the larger expanse of his thighs, and so he can land on the berth and at a much shorter distance.]

"Much more difficult. Do not be afraid to reach out to those around you, to ask for support. Being a creator, especially on your own, is difficult. It is tiring, and often with few or no breaks. And it is ok to admit you need help."

"It's never easy to forgive yourself, but the best advice I can give is to be lenient with yourself. If your actions, even the bad mistakes, were something you would be able to forgive, then your mechlings likely will be able to as well. But hearing it said is the easy part. Believing it? That's-"

[Break Out takes a vent, thinking about his answer for a long moment, and choosing his words carefully.]

"It is easy to get caught up in wanting to be a good parent, but that fear in and of itself can lead to you accidentally hurting your sparkling. To making them anxious as well."

[Carefully, Break Out just brings up his second servo. He watches Gullet travel across it, and brings his first servo back up, and watches the process repeat like a very slow treadmill.]

"It likely is a good thing. And I don't believe I can speak to Soundwave's symbionts, but I do know I had mine quite early as well. It both is and is not an indication of maturity."

[Break Out blinks rapidly, optics zooming in on the sparkling. He'll investigate that more later. Right now he needs to watch the little one so they don't try to go crawling off his servo back to Blight.]

"Well, now you'll know to ask a bit more, in case there's a next time."

[Break Out chuckles, smirking at Blight.]

"Besides, Soundwave can be quite the rascal when he wants to be, I'm not surprised he didn't inform you of how young he was."

"I'm not sure of his exact age, but he is considered an adult by both his peers and medics. Perhaps just a bit inexperienced and naive, but it's to be expected. You likely did not damage any systems, if that is what you are worried about."

[The general chuckles quietly, holding Gullet close to his chassis. He brings up a digit for Gullet to hold if the sparkling chooses.]

"Tiny little thing... Allspark, you're adorable..."

[Break Out hums quietly, nodding.]

"That makes sense. I think he's sort of adopted Soundwave, in a way. And the mech is quite young. Technically, he.. 'emerged' on Earth, though he is an adult."

[Break Out's servo comes up to hold Gullet, very gently taking the sparkling and using his free arm to help maneuver Blight. With some difficulty, he manages to get the mech onto the makeshift berth he has and sits down next to him, looking back down at Gullet.]

I will, Rung. You stay safe as well.

[Break Out turns and flies off to go get the container.]

{Fin.}

[He won't lie, it's a tiny bit awkward hearing his date call his leader a cunt, but whatever. He supposes he can't really blame the mech.]

"Fair enough. May I ask why he broke your door?-"

[Break Out's servos come up to hold Blight, one at the should (not holding Gullet) and the other supporting Blight's forearm.]

"Would you like me to take them so you can rest? I promise I will not leave your sightline, nor will I let any harm come to Gullet."

No, but I thank you for the offer. My ship is nearby, I'll be able to get the moving container quickly. She won't be out here much longer.

[He'll need to call a medic to do an autopsy... Perhaps Bad Apple, maybe Knock Out? He'll figure it out later.]

[Break Out nods, a soft smile coming onto his face.]

"That's quite normal. Their object permanence isn't quite the greatest yet. Though, it's good that they're so alert."

[He chuckles as the sparkling keeps staring at him.]

[Break Out nods.]

It's the least I could do when you've helped me so.

[He looks back to Venture.]

I'll bring a proper movement container for her later...

[Break Out chuckles.]

"Good reasons. Mine are gold and red. Red for Tracker's optics, and gold for.. other more personal reasons."

[Break Out smiles slightly.]

[Break Out looks back at Rung. There's a very faint clicking sound, and a comm request pops up on Rung's HUD. It's a picture of Rung's neck, zoomed in on the two marks.]

It might be best to find a medic to get checked by anyway.
