Since the January launch, we have worked on a funding application, a book proposal and developing PGR and ECR networks

Work and employment is embedded in all systems which sets apart this network’s collective research from individual research

Institutes are vulnerable to change, so international support e.g. from the ILO/RDW and others is key

Today we introduced Work-Net at a special lunchtime session at the RDW Conference at @ilo.org

Jill Rubery gave an overview of recent activities and noted the importance of the network’s international comparative perspective across institutes based in different fields of research

We’re delighted that President and Vice-Chancellor of @official-uom.bsky.social Duncan Ivison joined us for the official launch of Work-Net International yesterday, emphasising the importance of global (and impactful) research networks that respond to the social and emotional complexities of work.
