Yes, but easily fixed. I usually let it sit for a few days and then those things are suddenly apparent. Just found a couple in manuscript for a study I was about to submit.

I can’t understand why this isn’t more of an issue. It’s going to take many years to attempt to fix the damage to US public health. In the meantime, children and vulnerable people will die unnecessarily and we will all be at risk for preventable harm from the unscientific mess he has created.

Wow, a rare event. Congratulations! Has not happened to me. And as a journal editor, I’ve never received a manuscript that didn’t need at least minor revision.

Cutting is painful. Save them in another file.

Tell them via email that you are officially withdrawing your manuscript from consideration. This does not sound like the type of journal where you want your hard work published.

In a reputable journal, there is a notification of fees before manuscript submission. Asking for a fee after acceptance is a scam.
