Troy Baker also did a phenomenal job as Indy. It really felt like the character was played by Harrison Ford himself because the dialogue, humor, and conversations with other characters all felt so true to the movies.

Beyond those gameplay issues, the game is really solid. Voss is a great villain and serves as a good foil to Indy. Each level has so many intricate details and they all just look so beautiful. The game runs so well and load times are nonexistent.

It’s also apparent it’s a Bethesda game because the movement is just not snappy at all. There’s a lot of platforming required in the back half of the game and it got really frustrating constantly falling to my death because the game wouldn’t trigger a ledge grab or a whip latch.

I’m currently stuck at 95% completion because one single field note picture in Sukhothai will not trigger for me. Very frustrating to put 30 hours into 100%’ing a game just to be locked out of getting the achievement because of a bug.

It’s very apparent this is a Bethesda game as I encountered several bugs that required me to restart checkpoints because of objectives disappearing, completions not triggering, and NPC’s not doing what they need to do to progress.

I finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle yesterday. Really solid game. I’d probably give it a 7/10. Atmosphere, story, and characters are all really well done. The game really feels like an Indiana Jones adventure. However, it is brought down by some gameplay elements.

Might just start a new farm in Stardew Valley just to feel something

September and October were such lulls for gaming and now I’ve got Black Ops 6, Mario & Luigi Brothership, Banjo-Tooie on NSO, Spyro trilogy on gamepass, and Mario Party Jamboree. I can never decide what to play!

Initial thoughts on BO6 zombies are that it’s really fun. Guns feel really good. Difficulty is there. Tons of customization options to unlock. Camo grind seems fair. You level up pretty quickly. Big fan of not having to unlock weapons to level them up. Excited to hunt the Easter eggs tomorrow!
