I finally got my hands on a copy of "The Indian Independence", a short-lived Indian anticolonial periodical brought out by Bhupendra Nath Datta from Berlin in 1923. The German authorities instructed Datta to cease publication or leave the country. Datta did both.

Virendranath Chattopadhyaya [1880-1937] Chatto was the epitome of a transnational revolutionary. He devoted his life in exile in Berlin to the Indian struggle for independence.

Writing about Narayan Krishna's arrival in Canada in February 1905 this morning. On board the SS "Corinthian", a fellow passenger drew a sketch of him as "Prince Ha-Ra-Yan Kesber". In Montreal, newspapers called him "Nara Yan Kesher", "Ha-Ra-Yan Krishna", and "Dr. Kershau". A man of many names.
