Medical Burnout It's a thing. You get so tired of explaining what's going on to nurses, only for the doctor to come in and know nothing. Anxiety before appointments. that take everything out of you. Phone calls, holds, chasing referrals and insurance. It's hard to advocate. We try so hard, and then we do nothing. We just want to live. Do we keep trying or give up? The fatigue sets in. We are burnt out.
