Anyway.

Don't ever let some fucking dork tell you a setting featuring bright blue soldiers called "Ultramarines" and catgirls and canon characters named Lion El' Jonson and *Obiwan Sherlock Clousseau* is something you have to take seriously.

4. Mary released CasserolΓ© (olΓ© olΓ©) a dance hit in the summer of 1983

Incredibly frustrating to see people in the UK still getting Welsh nationalism so wrong. The right to self determine isn’t a sinister boogeyman. When no matter how the country votes it still has no hold in Westminster meaning we live under laws that we haven’t voted for is undemocratic at best.

The end logic of this if you’re in the UK btw is DEFEND THE BBC.

Complain about it, protest bad coverage of course, but we won’t get another institution that makes safe, publicly funded, reliable, human-created, vetted content for kids if we let the BBC get destroyed.

It’s disgraceful that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor continues to hold his titles and lives in an effectively taxpayer-subsidised mansion.

This raises serious questions about how seriously our institutions take allegations of child sexual abuse.

A light hits the fire escape of a building and the mystery man calling himself The Sandman is shown wearing a gas mask, fedora hat and long trenchcoat. In his hand he holds a gun with a canister of sleeping gas.

The bad dreams stop when he puts on the mask and goes out at night...

Experience the dark and ugly underbelly of New York City during the late 1930s through the eyes of Wesley Dodds, The Sandman, and his eventual partner and lover, the modern woman Dian Belmont.

IMO, one of the '90s best series.

Can we widen this to 'if you permanently emigrate anywhere', perhaps including pensioners who get citizenship of Spain, Portugal, wherever?

A kind of 'one in/one out' policy.

I’m afraid that if you emigrate to Dubai for the tax breaks and 24-hour security, you really should give up your citizenship here for someone who wants it.

Absolutely fair. I also wonder if it was a show that existed before it's time. I'm reminded of a show called Profit which was on at the same time, flashes of brilliance but the mid-90's was not the time for such shows to flourish.

I adored that show when it came out. Flaws and all. The niece storyline about being forcefully embraced by the Brujah was interesting as well.
