Trump pauses tariffs on Mexico for 1 month after Sheinbaum agrees to send troops to border President Trump announced he is pausing tariffs targeting imports from Mexico for a month after the country's president agreed to send 10,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

If Trump wants to address immigration in a meaningful way he should show some muscle against the all powerful gun industry.

Let's not forget that approx. 200,000 - 500,000 guns flow from the U.S. across the southern border each year and many end up in the hands of cartels and other armed groups.

More than 3/4 of families arriving at the U.S. southern border cite violence as a key reason for leaving their home country.

Instead of troops at the border or tariffs that only drive up prices and hurt consumers, simply ENFORCE the laws on the books to address the problem at its source.
