I secured more than $1 MILLION for critical water infrastructure improvements in Greene County and Stanardsville.  

These investments will help keep utility costs down and ensure clean, reliable water for the community — now and for years to come.

The Supreme Court ruled in their favor, striking down Virginia laws that banned interracial marriage.  

Because of her deep belief in equality and support of the freedom to marry for all, Mildred Loving helped expand civil rights for generations to come. (2/2)

This Black History Month, I want to recognize Caroline County native Mildred Delores Loving and her husband, Richard Loving.

In 1967, the couple were at the center of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia after being criminally charged for their interracial marriage. (1/2)
