It could be. Just folded for now. Likely will be flat later.

Making the halves whole. It took me a few tries to practice and fail but it’s working now. Wonder clips, a good thimble, 50wt thread, thin sharps needles (rather than quilting betweens needles), and a tiny pincushion from a friend are good tools of the EPP trade.
