I don't like "clean" for the same reason, but I'm also not a fan of "spicy" because books without it aren't necessarily "bland".

The romance fam needs to find smuttiness descriptors that don't implicitly insult the other end of the spectrum...

This is why I could never write a sports romance - I don't know enough to make it realistic 😅😭

Pros & Cons of basing a setting on a real-life castle:
- Pro: Lots of photos to inject realism and life into your character's' surroundings.
- Con: Fighting the urge to spend $$$$ on an international flight to go visit it

Is it just me, or do posts that start with this always finish with some *absolute* nonsense?

There should be swap meets where writers can trade their strengths to make up for their deficiencies. Like, I have a massive backlog of story ideas, but I write at a snail's pace. Can I exchange some of that inspiration for speed?

My favorite thing about werewolves is their flexibility.
- Want them to mate? Sure!
- Want a rigidly hierarchical pack structure? Why not?
- Want a *hive mind*? Go for it!
The only real requirement is that they shift into wolves/wolf-like creatures.
