This makes sense and indeed is a cool feature of #ungrading. I actually had a study abroad experience where my grades didn’t count and I did much better and then also better when returning to my degree. Do you think some anxiety and stress is good for students?

I’m genuinely interested if that wasn’t clear. I totally agree that grades can actually make things worse for students.

I’m just wondering if this is necessarily a bad thing? I’m open to learning 😊

This is certainly an interesting premise and I can see how such a position can arise. I’m curious how you think this would transfer to the working world?

I’m thinking that students will be competing with each other in the job market and will also work in some part due to extrinsic motivation?
