I saw them by myself years ago with the Black and White album. Definitely memorable. So much spitting on the stage from one of them that they had a designated towel guy to wipe up at regular intervals. Also locked eyes with Pelle at one point while I was standing in the very front. Intense!

Oh wow congrats, I never did that one. I can imagine how it felt. Just thinking about it now I need to be careful that I don't get sucked back in again.

Maybe what burned me out most was having some incredible runs and then going back to really underwhelming runs - made me question my time.

I was working on the challenges at the end, but I think there was something that spooked me as too much of a commitment so I moved on that that point. Thankful that these types of games always have a bit of an 'end goal' even if they can be played forever.

If casinos were like Balatro I might actually consider going to one. That game was definitely an obsession of mine for at least a month of so, but thankfully it's behind me again after unlocking most of the jokers.

If I ever finish my latest passion project then it's absolutely going to have VO even if it's just me and my friends.

Thanks! It's basically a musical sandbox. You can jam live or record/edit parts or any combination of that. Imagine something like Tiny Glade but for music.

For sure. Being zero-budget indie for so long I just have no sense of how much it costs to make games on the next level up. If I suddenly had a budget I'd probably have no idea how to manage it.

As someone who made about 10k last year I'm always floored by what affordable means in the creative industry. But maybe I just need to get a 'proper' job.

Having done some room modelling for a side-project recently, I can definitely say I wish I could afford someone to create reference drawings like this. I would draw it myself but my brain just doesn't work this way.

This is me, but for years now I've mostly been hooked on Zevia soda. Usually only on weekends, but for special occasions I will also allow weekday sipping. Treats like this make my world go round.

It almost sounds like they LOTR'd too hard, but in the wrong way, because I never saw a toilet in any of those movies, and I don't even recall Tolkien ever mentioning one.

I really wanted to go deeper into Blue Prince, but I started dreaming about it in the worst way possible (repetitive tedium dreams) so I haven't dared go back to it since then because I know I'll get sucked in again.

You also won't ever go viral in a small discord server, which means it changes the way you think about what you share, and for me that's maybe one of the biggest benefits.

I have a few that are very small to bring together friends from different places. Not a ton of action, but it's a very safe place to share.

I also don't ever feel like I'm sharing too much, which is very nice. I have a tough time posting on public social sites these days.
