What changes from 2.x is that the lib is now a bit more opinionated. Players behave by default like how you would expect from a music player, with absolute positioning.

For most usages, this should make the configuration less verbose, and easier to learn.

Orchestre-JS is the tool I use in my web musical projects to manage adaptive music. It's very intuitive and easy to set up, and quite versatile in the possibilities it offers.
