It sounds like the start of a superhero movie
06.08.2025 18:07 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And now itโs making its way onto LinkedIn ๐ซ
05.08.2025 18:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So, I opened twitter and now everyone seems to be parroting on how difficult hiring good designers is, and how they know best on how to attract good designers.
05.08.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0That's funny!
05.08.2025 16:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0+1
Additionally, people appreciate silence. Interacting with a phone is not the same as crowds of people shouting at their meta glasses while commuting
Itโs a constant โYouโre wrong, Iโm rightโ type of discourse, with the occasional very disturbing video thrown at you while you take a short break.
03.08.2025 06:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I meant repetitive processes more in the sense of routines.
02.08.2025 19:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes!
I donโt think rituals are THE path to happiness, but thereโs definitely a certain sense of Ikigai (if thatโs even a thing) in the repetitive processes that bring you joy.
Weโre always pursuing maximum convenience. Self driving cars, full automation, capsule espresso machines.
I donโt mind grinding my coffee by hand. 100 turns in the morning. Rituals over convenience.
The spinning wheel of death.
01.08.2025 06:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Figmaโs current extreme valuation either means people see a huge market opportunity with non-yet customers, or a huge potential with existing customers. I fear we will get poorer.
01.08.2025 06:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Comet works great.
But I also ended up with a couple dns records less when visiting my server cpanel. I only asked what dns record was causing a conflict.
It selected two or three and deleted them, even pressing yes in the โare you sureโ popup modal.

Really cool that he collaborated with Madison McFerrin on one song. Her family is so talented.
22.07.2025 08:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I really enjoyed watching "Flow."
I was expecting it to be good, but the story and the world where it takes place surprised me a lot.
I wonder what makes people be so much more into threads and Meta stuff than Bluesky.
20.07.2025 06:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0At least in the ones close to Hamburg. I usually go to Travemรผnde. In the past Iโve ignored the ticket machines, but not today. I noticed like 10 guys checking the tickets and fining people. Itโs absurd.
19.07.2025 16:27 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Curious about this. I research and research and always end up thinking about a 2nd hand refurbished iPod.
19.07.2025 15:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Every beach in Portugal is open to everyone, locals and tourists alike. In Germany you have to buy a ticket. I canโt get used to it.
19.07.2025 15:45 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Years ago, this documentary inspired me to visit Myanmar: the most beautiful country Iโve been to, with the friendliest people Iโve ever met. What theyโre currently going through breaks my heart.
On a side note: I highly recommend watching Samsara and Baraka.

Forgot to mention that it goes with toasts :-)
16.07.2025 21:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Tofu has been our weekend breakfast, for as long as I can remember. Recipe invented by me: sautรฉ garlic and onions, then sliced mushrooms, a grated potato, and some grated smoked tofu. Photos are from I was pretending to be a food blogger ๐
16.07.2025 21:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Home made tofu from soy beans? If thatโs the case, impressive!
I love tofu (especially smoked tofu), but never tried making it.
In the past couple of years, it feels like weโre stuck in a constant crescendo. Can we fast track to wherever weโre going? I want to see the climax.
14.07.2025 18:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I worry about the decline of the internet. But honestly, when it comes to online shopping, unless you buy from brands youโre familiar with, it often feels like youโre just dodging drop shipping and low quality copies.
14.07.2025 16:24 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Really nice homage to one of my favourite pieces from Astor Piazzolla, Prologue (Tango Apasionado). Kamasi Washington is a giant.

Iโve been using it on and off since beta. Itโs good. Loving it functionality wise, but I wish the design was a bit subtler though.
09.07.2025 16:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm really enjoying Raycast > Raindrop integration to manage โto-read laterโ bookmarks.
Raycast makes adding things to Raindrop a breeze, and then I can pick it up on my phone with Raindropโs mobile app.
I really like People vs Algorithms. No guests, always the same people with interesting tech topics.
