I am obsessed with dahlias. Planted my first three plants this year and they are now blooming! Went to the Portland dahlia festival and looked at about 15,000 of them! Have you seen the photo online where there are frogs living in them?

Finished this wonderful novel BAD ART MOTHER by Edwina Preston. I've loved her earlier writing. Her style is so cool + sophisticated + the voice of Owen beguiling + full of pain. Her ability to write across genres so convincingly is rare. How to balance motherhood + art? Great topic to wrestle with.

The letter 'T' in rainbow colours

I've decided to only call the President 'Rump' from now on - given his penchant for removing important letters of the alphabet like 'T' from necessary places I'm sure he won't mind.

I've decided to call him Rump from now on - he's not the only person who can attempt to remove the letter T.
