Joined over a year and a half ago. Then, few people I followed were here. What I was reading was a lot about bluesky, on bluesky. Now, seems many I follow are here, and talking about things I follow them for.
Also helps now a few more capabilities are now available, lists, feeds, etc.

How did you install this app and post this?

Given the amount flux of the app, the protocol still being built, and the communications and content the bsky team is working on releasing everyday. I think it's reasonable to let them know, they are working in the open and would be able to help. @jay.bsky.team @pfrazee.com

I think the promise of the vision is that you can but you don't have to. The underlying infra and data is open so builders can leverage it to build consumer only products. Some people will be builders, some consumers, only a smaller subset both.

It's super early. Jay and Peter both said the entire client app was meant to be a short term hack until they finished the underlying infra and protocol.

Sounds cool

Curious, is there a tool you or others are using to post here and on Twitter? Or is everyone copying and pasting all their posts?

Fair, they will own their algo. And if it's too hard to switch or only achievable for the savvy, or other algos remain fringe and low utilization - it won't matter that there are other options.

I agree, it's important. From what Ive read so far it sounds like there will be many algos to choose from, and bsky might not necessarily maintain 'the top one'

Do you think the 'speech vs reach' layer separation addressed this? With a marketplace of algos in the reach layer?
