Haha, well let us say that after the ring is destroyed, the book (in the edition I have) goes on for 85 pages (plus appendices of 102 pages). :p

But in those 85 pages is the scouring of the Shire (where Saruman takes control of the Shire), which was not in the films, so it keeps things moving. :)

Finished reading The Lord of the Rings, I can confirm it is a good read... But I assume that this is not a hot take. :p

Watched Dina Duisen play piano as part of the Sunday Piano Series and then did a lot of walking. 😊

Went ice skating (only fell three times), then decided to watch my first ice hockey game. There was a lovely dedication to Adam Johnson and the retirement of his shirt, and Nottingham Panthers won 6-0.

Ah awesome, I went uni in Notts so I have fond memories. 😊

I went as Little John. I actually went to a Museum of Curiosity, I think you would really like it, had a few creepy rooms.
