Playing Xenoblade X switch 2 edition, the 60 fps is incredibly nice but what the hell happened with the upscale, looks abysmal with the amount of artefacts especially on handheld, hope it can be patched to be better

Flying a skell at 4k 60fps, my dreams have become reality

Start getting really into Remedy games and they've shot up as one of my favourite so quickly, such a unique artistic vision in all their stuff you don't see elsewhere, and Control is brilliant, the telekinesis is so much fun to play with

They went fucking crazy with the end of the DQ2 Remake, one of the all time great remakes easily holy shit

Honestly quite happy to see them continuing as it is a nice option for affordable Nintendo merchandise, particularly when a lot of of characters/series otherwise don't really get any, definitely feels like they've leant much more into the collectible angle that game functionality in recent years

Happy to say stranger things didn't game of thrones it and the final was good.
Instead they did a return of the king and gave 3 epilogues all of which you think is the actual epilogue

As the year is ending, here's my ranking of everything I played this year! (including stuff I replayed). Been a good year for games and still games I wanted to get around to (UFO 50, MGS Delta, Death Stranding 2) and probably won't because 2026 has too much I want to play already.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)

Found that as well on balancing, wish they stuck with the 1 on 1 battles as well, was a cool defining aspect of the original no over game really has I've played, and I think contributes to a lot of the weird balancing the remake has

Hades 2 making me play until 1am and still think I can still fit another run in, supergiant made another banger

I thought Octopath 2 was the perfection of the series' formula and one of my favourite games ever.
Turns out Octopath 0 perfected it further and is also becoming one of my favourite games ever, the deeper I go into it the more astounding the depth and quality of it all
