Someone is in broody jail.
Marfa has been stealing Anastasia's eggs! This morning, while I was trying to put Anastasia's nest back together, Marfa bit me! And not a quick warning nip, this was full on grab and twist. So yeah. She's in jail now while we let Anastasia sit on the eggs. 😤

We're trying something new this year! We put logs around the borders of the keyhole garden! They are inoculated with shitake and oyster mushrooms, so hopefully later this year we'll see some growth! The nectarine tree will always be small, I think. But that's okay, it seems to like where it is!

Happy Ostara! Our birds have been laying! I am still amazed at how HUGE muscovy eggs are!

This morning I made cinnamon rolls from scratch, using the same technique for shokupan (milk bread). So I hope they're super soft!
