Anyone have any better means of communicating with them?

The website indicates an 8-week turnaround. Since it has been 16 weeks, we are concerned. Querys on the status via their website say request not found. Calling the provided phone are futile.

I have a client who needs a parent's certified birth certificate from New York City. The needed application and associated details were sent via FedEx on April 21, 2025, and marked as received on April 23,2025. Nothing has been heard from NYCDOHVR, and the money order has not been cashed. 1/3.

An excellent source of #genealogy info is Historical City Directories. They provide substantial info between censuses, such as addresses, occupations, spouse.

For the region, there are 8,095 Free City Directory Collections.
