2024 started with a Cape Fear Memorial Bridge preservation project - completed ahead of schedule.
In July, a $242M federal grant was announced, paving the way for a long-term investment with a replacement bridge.

Good news for red wolves! @ncdot.bsky.social will receive $25 million to build wildlife crossings on US 64 to help prevent deaths on the road. In the past 5 years, 6 red wolves died from vehicle strikes, and 5 pups perished after their father was killed by a car. awionline.org/press-releas...

#NCDMV graduates 69 new Driver License Examiners at its annual Basic School Graduation ceremony today at DMV HQ in Rocky Mount. The new Examiners will be assigned to 45 Driver License offices across N.C. to serve customers. Read more about it 👉 bit.ly/4fr3yoD
