I am looking for postdoctoral positions that would allow me to continue researching LGBTQ+ health and wellness. I specifically study how trans folks flourish and care for themselves in the face of sociopolitical constraint. My PhD is in Psych and WGS. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! πŸŒˆπŸŽ“

Trump administration axes more than $125M in LGBTQ health funding, upending research field The administration’s cancellation of hundreds of grants is dismantling the LGBTQ-focused research field, built out of nothing over a quarter century.

In the past month, the NIH terminated many ISGMH grants focused on HIV prevention, LGBTQ health, and training early career scholars. The effect on our institute has been devastating.

Director @mustanski.bsky.social spoke to @nbcnews.com about the impact. www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-...

I am set to finish my PhD at the end of this April. While this is exciting, I am worried about what comes after. I am still on the hunt for jobs and post docs that would allow me to continue doing research on the needs/experiences of LGBTQ folk. If you know/hear of anything, can you send it my way?
