There was a post a week or two ago that likened having a post go viral to having someone go "congratulations, you won the prize! It's BEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!"

And goddamn that's true.

Ok so there is literally a Bimbo factory in the town I live in and I will never ever stop giggling about it and/or Having Feelings about it. πŸ˜…

Lol it wasn't me. I didn't even notice she was doing this.

I honestly love the whole vibe of drone stuff, it's the "mindless slave menial task framing" part that I'm not interested in. Gorgeous to look at tho.

I wish my demisexuality felt like this to me--uncomplicated and a relief to discover.

My experience is more... It feels like playing Russian roulette with everyone you get close to. So you become paranoid about who you let in. Which leads to more superficial relationships, which aren't satisfying.

Britt has activated my Be A Gremlin mode tonight, so beware. There may be more of this nonsense. 🀭🀭🀭

It'd be funny is just, one day, someone showed up for a booty call and when the other person opened the door they just went

"Arrr ye cannot have me treasure!!"

And just ran off into the night, no other explanation.

Just once.

As a treat. 🀭

When I told B-- about this post, she grabbed my head and pulled our foreheads together and, while staring eye to eye with me intensely, said:

I FOUND YOUR BOX OF GAY PORN.
AN ENTIRE BOX

We promptly died laughing. The funeral is on Tuesday.

I had two equal reactions upon reading this:

1. This is the most unhinged interaction I've ever heard of in another couple.
2. This is exactly how B-- and I flirt.

So uhhh

Yeah

I love my wife.

More a fake-research version, meant to pass as real science to people who don't know better.

Like the Supreme Court.

Are you excited about Nameless, my new queer near-future cyberpunk novel set in Minneapolis? I sure as heck am!

And preorders for the ebook are now LIVE! It'll also be available on Kindle Unlimited at launch, if you're a subscriber.

It's a sticky point for me, personally, because it was precisely the "always knew" narrative that *kept* me from realizing I was trans. That very idea robbed me of god only knows how much time as myself.

So, yeah. That's why I'm so adamant about I Didn't Know.

--know anything about design until they have the vocabulary and context. Pre-existing experience helps *once that knowledge is gained*, but is no substitute or replacement for it.

Someone knowing they're trans is the same.

As a teacher of technical writing, I could say that my students have a deep-down knowledge of good or bad design from a lifetime of working with stuff that's designed well or poorly. The thing is, if they can't do anything with that experience, can't do anything with it, they can't be said to--

I mean, I DID write a whole essay refuting that.

Identity always seeps out, sure. More, our post-facto recollections recast actions in a new light, changing the memories themselves in fundamental ways without us noticing (as is just plain how brains work).

My guess is they're trying to prove conversion therapy works and/or that it's a sex thing, yeah.

30.01.2026 17:06 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It'll be out in paperback too! The preorder page for paperback is just apparently taking longer to populate.

30.01.2026 17:05 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

They're aware. Apparently, Bailey has been hard to get rid of.

30.01.2026 17:05 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The paperback preorder page apparently takes longer for Amazon to generate because the print files need to be hand-verified. I'll share it as soon as it's available!
