The disc that was attached to the Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977.

In 1977 NASA launched the Voyager spacecraft, including a CD with the song Johnny B. Goode, on a mission to study the solar system & beyond.

The extraterrestrials who open it will get another CD every month from Columbia House at full price and be hounded for life by intergalactic debt collectors.

Space Force has cataloged the errant Starlink 17-32 Falcon 9 upper stage as object 67673 in a 110 x 241 km x 97.3 deg orbit. It will reenter quickly.

Our friends working on the TUBIN satellite are preparing for it to re-enter the atmosphere in a few days - around 16-Dec.

They have invited ARISS fans and other hams to monitor the telemetry at 435.950 MHz and share data.
