There are sometimes 2 up at the same time, either flying close or just seemingly having fun and going all over the place. They often use callsigns RIOT01 and RIOT02.

We're regularly treated to the noise during test flights from the Warton site not far from Blackpool. It is loud but I enjoy hearing it for some reason.

I've had one for about a month and it's working great in FT8/FT4. Not had an opportunity to try voice or other modes on it yet though.

I remember the callsigns but my only recollection of them is that they weren't near here. Google suggests BIL was in Northamptonshire and BEN in Buckinghamshire.

I've just been been reissued with the packet radio BBS callsign that I relinquished about 29 years ago.

AI is going to have to try harder to convince us that it's not incredibly stupid. It's just told me that a radio has a standard 6 pin interface with connections on pins 1, 2, 3 and 8.

It needs to shut up when it doesn't know the answer and not make up something that's clearly wrong.

St Bernadettes Infants, Holy Family Juniors then St Joes with my final year in Sixth Form officially as St Mary's. Didn't make much difference - I think one girl from the Convent came for a lesson or two each week. The integration came in the following years.

Frogs like slugs. We have a growing number of frogs in our pond/garden and very few slugs or snails this year. No squirrels either but I don't think that's down to the frogs.

I was going to say I'd never heard of a BK Beast before.

I didn't know you you buy ladybird larvae. I'll look out for those next year.

Having said that our nesting blue tits have done a great job in clearing the garden of greenfly, caterpillars and other assorted bugs.

My laptop speakers face up and get dust in the small holes so I searched to see if there was an optimum way to clean them.

Google AI gave some cleaning suggestions followed by "If the problem persists, consider reinstalling audio drivers and software as a troubleshooting step." 🤪

I've always wanted to go but never got around to it. I've just about resigned myself to accepting that I'll never go. Mostly because I think it's too expensive now unless you want to sleep in a hedge and eat mud all weekend.

Foxtrot is a good album though.
