The darkest fear of DNC centrists has already happened. The crumbling of institutions and the rule of law is far worse for them than leftist populism. The center and left are much closer ideologically then you would think if you only read things online.

We are going to flip this seat by building a strong coalition of middle and working class people, and by running on a vision for an Affordable Future for All!

In our first 24 hours we raised over $250,000! I am so honored and grateful for all of the support, it was inspiring to see how our community came together and rallied behind our vision for an affordable future for all. Thank you all so much! πŸ’™

-1. I love the draft. I get to fantasize the Steelers may actually improve and could win a playoff game again before Hailey’s comet returns

Urge Obama, Clinton, Biden, Harris and Walz to Call for a General Strike Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

Would love to see the past 3 Democratic Presidents, plus Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and Tim Walz coordinate and promote a mass strike and day of protest of this administration's lawlessness. This petition is designed to encourage them to do this. Please sign and share: chng.it/bGHP6v6GmC

Understand your perspective. We need 'institutionalist" dems to join with AOC/Bernie to bring the kind of numbers we need to make a difference. Obama etc have massive email lists and influence.

JFC call on him to resign. And everyone else on that chat as well.

Please call on them to RESIGN. It’s not a hard decision.

β€œWhy aren’t people marching in the streets?” Because you need an easily understood catalyst. The pressure is buildingβ€”we need a climactic moment to unleash it.

(3) try to influence Democrats to push money to state parties, and push those parties to recruit and pay top people to run them. No state party chair should be a volunteer. It’s an insult to the job.

(2) really focus on community. Shop local and talk to everyone in my neighborhood. This helps a lot with (1)

(1) pay enough attention to know when immediate action is needed, like making calls or writing letters.

I emerged from a news blackout to see a few Hunter Biden headlines and wow I am going back to that blackout

Meant to say does NOT speak to why …

(5) Voting behavior will never be fully understood. It's way too complex to reduce to a single answer like 'media'. Telling ourselves simplistic stories doesn't help.

14.11.2024 00:33 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

(4) As soon as we say "rightwing media bubble" it means we consider the voters unreachable forever. It's a hopeless, despairing position. It also assumes that normal people are unable to go onto those media platforms and interact. Like we need a passport.

14.11.2024 00:32 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

(3) It assumes people vote solely based on media exposure, as opposed to a number of factors (religion, family, close friends, etc)

14.11.2024 00:30 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

(2) It does speak to WHY they are in the right-wing bubble to begin with. Things can't be going great for people to find whacked-out conspiracy theories viable.

14.11.2024 00:29 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

(1) One post-election thing going around I don't like: the concept that people who voted for T are in a sealed right-wing media bubble and that's why we lost. Don't agree because:

Guess I should think of something smart to say for my first post. Uh… too late
