Maekawa created Shadow and the very last act of service he did before jumping ship from Sonic for good was to make Shadow a knight in shining armor and have him bow at Sonics feet you cant make this up

In this AU, Aiken is the guinea pig/experiment/etc. of an evil scientist named Platinum. Those experiments are the reason why Aiken has become a monstrous creature. Don't worry, he's just happy to help Platinum with his weird little experiments.
