Sea otters know what they're doing in stormy seas like these. To stay safe from the breaking waves, they group together near rock formations in what is known as a 'raft'! 🦦🌊👏

A family of anemonefishes - Amphiprion ocellaris - in their half-closed anemone host, a brown-bodied Heteractic magnífica, with deep green tentacles. There are three fishes, two adults and one young, all orange with white vertical bands around their faces, and in the case of the adult fishes, also around their mid-body. They are trying to hide among the tightly packed anemone tentacles. One of the adult fishes, on the right of the frame, has its mouth wide open, whereby the parasitic isopod in his mouth can be seen occupying the space the fish tongue should be.

Saludos, Skylings. For this UW pic, I was literally upside down. In Lembeh, dives are so good, it can happen you empty the tank 🤦‍♂️ and it goes really buoyant (alu tank) 🤬. I had to fin hard against the surface to stay down. The frame was also upside down in my viewfinder!

Spike the Snail bouncing above the clouds with Spring Man from Mega Man 7. Spike's gripping to Spring's head with other hand, pumping their fist in the air, eyes closed in glee and shouting in excitement. Spring, more used to the thrill, is carrying them on his right shoulder, looking towards Spike with their other open eye. Their pose is relaxed, despite floating high in the air, paused, about to fall down. There's a slight serene pink sunset light in the back with blue/greyish clouds, suns remaining light shining onto the cloud's from below.

First animal I’d like to do for really no particular reason, is the boxer crab! The Lybia tessellata, with other names such as Cheerleader/Pom Pom crab, are a smaller crustacean that has a unique style where it holds anemones for defense!
