Blimey, it's taken me far too long to work out what ASAM was this morning.

The Naked Gun trailer is shockingly bad, I've been surprised by the glowing reviews it's getting.

I'm not going to be able to see this, which is annoying.Possibly their peak live, I used to love seeing big Cardiacs, scruffy uniforms, make-up, before Tim grew his hair. Was lucky to see them quite a lot from 86-89.

This is a great thread, almost all my favourites have been mentioned, but even though ISB can drive me round the bend at times, always had a soft spot for Liquid Acrobat as Regards the Air. I'd also argue that Jethro Tull may be blues/prog but they're also a great folk rock band.

Yeah, they seem to lean heavily into the first album these days, still a great night out, never seen them do a bad gig.

Saw them do it live at their farewell gig in Warminster in 1985. Possibly my favourite Subhumans album, though apparently the band aren't that keen on it.

Well that's had me running out to check behind the bins...not arrived yet. Looking forward to a fresh remaster of this, my old copy is a little tired. A contender for best album ever.

I probably haven't read Halo Jones for 30 years or so. I was pleasantly surprised that I remembered the start of book 2 word for word as it got read out by Simon. Took me straight back to 80's squatland and sharing a giro day copy of 2000AD. What a great episode.

Long form sport is great, 5 day tests and 3 week Grand Tour Cycling ebbing and flowing are some sort of pinnacle of human endeavour. Golf is shit though.

Saw them on the mini tour doing Juju, just before it came out in Feb 81, a gig so good I never dared see them again in case it was a let down
