I'm very close to the edge. I have a perfectly good PC that I can't upgrade to Windows 11 because Microsoft arbitrarily decided it was so. What else to do with it than turn it into a Linux PC?

Both Boo and Clementine went in hiding. I miss them! Clem peeks out for a drink when I mist the enclosure but that’s pretty much it! I hope she’s just molting and didn’t decide she needs to hibernate for Winter!

Oh yeah! What I noticed is that cheap toilet paper is rolled so loosely you get through a roll a day! Now I squeeze the rolls a bit to see how tightly they are rolled to make sure I don't pay for air.

Yeah! Plus the time cost is never taken into consideration when poor people are told they should cook at home more! A single mother working 3 jobs just to keep a roof over her family’s head does not have much time for food prep!

All my spoods decided to go in pre-molt at the same time so I’m looking at yours in the meantime until they re-emerge!

I speak French and English fluently, have a bit of Spanish from high school but it’s pretty rusty, and I’m currently learning German because I recently learned my family immigrated to Canada from Germany in the late 1700’s. German is really fun, I recommend it! I love how it combines words!

My husband just found a video editor job after 2 years of searching because of that shit! A company who thankfully realized how much punch a real video editor who knows what he’s doing adds to your videos!

The thing all those “AI first” companies need to realize is that… If you eliminate all the entry level jobs to replace them with AI, where are your future employees going to come from? Where are you going to find a certification specialist with 10 years experience in QA if there are no more QA jobs?

Of course, knowing all languages is not realistic, so we do have to use translators sometimes, but knowing more than one language is fun! And it's good for the brain!

Being bilingual (or more) is like a superpower! I'd hate for people to stop learning languages because "we can just ask ChatGPT"!
