Was the most important play of the 2025 season that backward pass 2-point conversion in the Week 16 Seahawks-Rams game?

This season was defined by those two teams, and makes a lot more sense when you think about it by focusing on that rivalry.

Get a grip, dude. Didn't move the goalposts or cut your argument in half at all. You misrepresented my use of the word excess in describing a community party as if it celebrates excess that led to oligarchy. I'm not talking about the housing crisis and fancy cars here. Just good food and community.

I wasn't trying to misquote you. You responded to me, and I'd argue misinterpreted my message as well. I do now see the line you're drawing from my use of the word excess. There are always different paradigms. I respect that you took issue with my framing, but we don't need to argue.

If you see what's happening for what it is, you're probably pretty concerned about the future. Maybe try to find some joy in the now. If that's walking through trees and breathing fresh air, instead of the SB, do that. And try not to remind yourself there are people who don't have even that luxury.

I fully reject the premise we can't enjoy any aspect of the way of life we want for others until everything is fixed. It's literally what we're fighting for.

I don't know who needs to hear this but life is a journey. It doesn't make you a bad person to try to find joy where possible along the way.

I could do more. I'm no saint. There are people breaking themselves every day to fight for something bigger than them. A way of life. For more people than our current government believes deserves that way of life.

1) There's good research that suggests a mental break from the constant information loop is probably necessary for all humans.

2) The America I'm proud of is fighting for the values I'll be celebrating, most notably community. I don't believe that has to equate to celebrating what you're saying.

100% agree with that sentiment, too. Just feel we have to compartmentalize and find joy in life where we can.
