Finished Life is Strange: Double Exposure last night. Actually really enjoyed. Good story, some good characters. If there is a direct sequel coming I will most definitely be on that.

Loved his book on the Challanger disaster. By the end I swear I could build my own space shuttle. By the end of this book I fully expect to become a nuclear scientist.

Currently reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. So much fun!

Just started Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Immediately in love. I’ve only read a couple of her books before but I’m getting the feeling that she could write 500 pages about a sausage sandwich and I would be thoroughly gripped all the way through.

Highly recommend The Expanded Earth by Mikey Please. The human race is shrunk down to a handspan. British speculative fiction at its finest. Funny, no waffling, illustrated and characters that are well written and hugely likeable. First of a trilogy. Can’t wait for more.

It’s great to be back in the Death Stranding universe. Loving so far. It’s beautiful and I haven’t fallen over yet.

Absolutely addicted to the new Fantasy Life. I really needed something bright and fun to help ease the little bit of depression that I’m struggling with. It’s funny and there’s so much to do but not in an overwhelming way. It’s pure joy.

Reading the new novel by S.J. Parris. Traitor’s Legacy. It’s a murder myself set around the Elizabethan court. Really enjoying and what a beautiful edition.

Went to Hever Castle yesterday. Met a doughnut loving duck. Went nuts in the gift shop but who doesn’t need an Anne Boleyn tea towel.

78 books read so far this year. More than ever books have been an escape for me. Depression, anxiety, sickness, another terminally ill family member. Books are getting me through it.

I’m in full on point and click mode so I’ve decided to play the directors cut of Kathy Rain. Only ever played the original and it is on my list of favourite ever point and clicks.

Finished Old Skies and it was fabulous. Best storytelling yet from @WadjetEyeGames. I don’t mind saying it kicked me right in my feels a few times. Point and click heaven.

Started The Longing on Steamdeck.The objective is to exist underground for 400 real time days. The clock ticks down regardless of if the game is on or off. You can do nothing or you can explore and see what’s on offer. Currently collecting coal. The isolation feels very peaceful.

Finished #Expedition33. GOTY. Just when you think it can’t possibly get more spectacular it does. The combat and the music are exquisite. The boss fights are immense. This game is pure heart and soul.
