The 10yo has gotten into Futurama, and sometimes now when she walks around the apartment I can see her making Zoidberg claw-clacking motions to herself.

We're taking the 10yo to the Stranger Things play tonight. When he got the tickets at TKTS, Jesse was informed that if you show up after 7, they won't seat you until 25 minutes in. Now I'm picturing Demogorgons dancing up the aisles like Cats.

I saw someone say once that Julia Garner would make a good Clarice, and I thought that was great casting. (Also Lee Pace for Buffalo Bill!)

This is probably going to resonate with very few people, but when I was watching 'Keeper,' @rockmarooned.bsky.social surreptitiously went to the deli, bought a slice of chocolate cake, and left it out on the table for me to find when I finished the movie. 😬 #TrueLove

Even though the writer moves beyond it, I really hate the framing of this story: that moms are nurturing, that dads work outside the home and are less involved in day-to-day parenting tasks. These ideas are so outdated and yet so, so persistent.
