I've seen others point out how reporting often focuses on one part of polling (basically, "do you like illegal immigrants") and not the second part ("legal immigration should be easier"). The latter having a lot more support because it emphasizes a humane solution and not just a nebulous problem.

Texas sale laws

If Texas was reeeeally worried about kids they might do something about the gun violence and if they suddenly want to police adults who abuse controlled substances alcohol sure kills alot if people. Always figure out who benefits from seemingly silly laws so emphatically supported by old men.

Giggling and getting the munchies hasn't killed anyone yet. Kids seem to be fine, and legalizing weed hasn't done anything except decrease crime. One wonders if Texas just really loves to sentence people to indentured servitude in a private prison over possession. Just a thought.
