I have started watching this, though it's going to take some time for me to get through it all.

it is funny when someone accidentally invents Cohost from first principles, because Cohost was a good idea. unfortunately it is less funny to tell then what happened to Cohost

this was called Cohost—not enough people used it or spent money on it relative to the amount of money it cost to (1) pay its 4 employees a living wage for their labor; and (2) keep the site running, so it died, nothing like it has taken its place at the scale it existed, and now we're here

a member of bluesky saying "Yeh" in response to the above post, with a journalist responding asking to get their exact quote over the thread in which the bluesky member responds with "what" and the journalist then rephrasing the question only for the bluesky member to delete the entire thread

I do find it hilarious how they immediately backtracked after this and deleted the comment

Hades 2 is remains an amazing only slightly marred by rushed ending. Still a GOTY contender in my book

Like all the themes of the story of Hades 2 were all there so you can see where it was planning on going, it just jumped to finale too quickly without finishing earning it. It definitely doesn't ruin game or anything like some have said, it just less expertly crafted than first was

I think tales of Hades 2 ending being bad are a bit overblown. I think it feels rushed for sure. Original Hades ending was a gradual buildup which made it work great. Hades 2 just misses the buildup, it's problem is it's very sudden, but what actually happens is basically what I expected and is fine

Listen, I really love being connected with everyone but it is starting to seem any social media out there just forgets that Nazis are bad and marginalized folks are culture as soon as they hit a dozen million users.

The CEO of Bluesky is craven and evil. The only people that build these platforms are infected with the self-reproducing moral rot of capitalism. They have no sense of duty or stewardship. They see their monetary reward as a cleansing justification for their actions.

Also it finally dawned on me who Dora in Hades 2 is, kept trying to think of a Dora in Greek myth and failing and I now feel sheepish now that I've finally figured it out. It all makes sense now! I gotta get her friendship up now
